Privacy
We keep as little about you as we can. This page says what there is, and who holds it. It's run by ; write to with any question or request.
When you buy
itch.io takes your payment and holds your purchase details, under itch.io's privacy policy. We can see your order (your email, what you paid) in itch.io's records, and use it only to give you the game and updates, help you, and keep the accounts the law requires.
This website
The site has no adverts, no tracking and no cookies of its own. It's served by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect it. The Buy buttons take you to itch.io, which has its own cookies and policies.
The launcher
The game's launcher asks this website for the newest version each time it starts. To download an update it sends the email you bought with, which it remembers on your computer, so we can check with itch.io that it bought the game. Our website stores nothing itself. Nothing else about you or your computer is sent.
In the game
Your settings, saved games and multiplayer level stay on your own computer. When you host or join an online game, our relay server sees your IP address while you play (as any server you connect to does) and, for a hosted game, its name and number of players, so it can list it. It keeps no record of games once they're over. A game joined on your own network, or by a direct code, connects you straight to the host's computer, so the host sees your IP address.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it (as with sales records). For your payment details, ask itch.io.
